سلام..
مع الاسبوع الاول من الربع الاول للسنه الحاليه بدات بعض الصفحات تظهر موصفات و مميازت nforce3 250 اللتي طال انتظارها والتي اعلن عنها باواخر السنه الماضيه..
وهذه هي بعض من المميزات التي تحتويها هذه الرقاقات واللتي تتميز بالاهتمام بالحمايه والامن من خلال اضافه جدار ناري بداخلها.بالاضافه الي اضافه gb lan و زياده سرعه النورث برج الي 1000mhz .
They've got some engineers formerly from 3Com working on their network team for the nForce series.
They demo'ed the GB ethernet with 1750Mbit throughput using the Chariot test suite. This was using about 60% CPU doing that much traffic bidirectionally. Not too bad. (The PCI GB ethernet card from Intel maxed at 850MBit and used about 85% CPU).
The new firewall they have built in is pretty cool. Very granular and built into the driver for the NIC. Very low level loading and minimal performance hit. Totally customizeable. But I still prefer my external hardware firewall.
RAID can do mirrors, stripes, stripes + mirror, & JBOD across the PATA and SATA drives together, so you can mix and match tech types.
No RAID 5 at this moment, but will be a future option
