مع بعض ياريت كل اللى عنده معلومه يساهم يعنى انا هكتب الكلام بتاع شرح ال EIGRP باللغة الإنجليزية وياريت الكل يشارك ويشرح

Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) is a Cisco-proprietary routing protocol based on Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (IGRP).



-EIGRP بروتوكول خاص بشركة سيسكو ، مرتكز على أل IGRP



ØReleased in 1994, Unlike IGRP, which is a classful routing protocol, EIGRP supports CIDR and VLSM.



-صدر فى 1994 ، مختلف عن أل IGRP الذى يعتبر Classfull Routing Protocol ، يعتبر ال EIGRP Classless ويدعم ال CIDR و VLSM



it is probably one of the two most popular routing protocols in use today.

Compared to IGRP, EIGRP boasts faster convergence times, improved scalability, and superior handling of routing loops.

Neighbor Discovery





There are three conditions that must be met for neighborship establishment


لابد من توافر شروط لحدوث أل neighborship establishment





Hello or ACK received


AS numbers match


Identical metrics (K values)

DUAL takes the information and calculates the lowest cost routes to each destination.





By tracking this information, EIGRP routers can identify and switch to alternate routes quickly.





The information that the router learns from the DUAL is used to determine the successor route, which is the term used to identify the primary or best route.





Every EIGRP router maintains a topology table. All learned routes to a destination are maintained in the topology table.

Diffusing Update Algorithm
يستخدم في حساب احسن طريق ويعمل backup route
والي يستخدم في حاله انقطع المسار الرئيسي
في مصطلحين لازم تفهمهم
successor
والي هو route ألي يسستخدمه البروتروكول ك مسار رئيسي
feasible successor
والي يستخدم ك backup route
طبعا هذا المسار له شررط لازم بيكون ال reported distance لهذا المسار اقل من successor route الرئيسي
علشان كذا eigrp يعتبر اسررع في ايجااد المسار البديل لانه يحفظ اكثر من مسار بديل في حاله انقطع المسار الرئيسي يستخدم backup
الي يقوم بكل هذي المهام هو dual
طبيب لو ماحصل backup route يش يسوي؟
يعمل query
يسال الرواترات عن اي مسار بديل يعني مايستحي ويسال
هذي المميزات الي تخلي الeigrp اسرع

هذا البروتوكول ايش مهمته؟
انت تعرف ان eigrp يعمل multicast\
علشان يرسل [packets للرواترات لأازم يكون في ackمن المستلم علشان يكون الاتصال reilable
طيب لو مارد الراوتر ack
يظطر ال eigrp
يرسل unicast لهذا الراوتر 16 مره بعدها يعتبره غير متصل
ارجو انك تكون استفدت واعذرني على الاخطاء فالكتابه بالانجليزي

ده زي ال UDP and TCP في L4 في الا OSI وده معمول علشان يوحد الشغل بتاع البروتوكول على جميع الانظمة التشغيلية والله اعلم
