اعلنت ADOBE مؤخرا في مؤتمر Adobe MAX ان Flash Player 10.1 , و تماما مثلما وعدت NVIDIA و ADOBE في معرض ComputeX 2009 , ان النسخة الجديده سوف تدعم تسارع الـ GPU لـNVIDIA

(هذا الخبر (https://www.arabhardware.net/forum/showthread.php?t=121143) بتاريخ شهر 6 2009 عن التعاون بين ADOBE و NVIDIA ولقد احتاج الأمر فقط حوالي 4 اشهر لإتمام هذا الأمر :))

ان Flash Player 10.1 سوف يدعم مختلف الأجهزة النقالة (جوال) بما في ذلك
Symbian S60, Android, Palm, Windows Mobile 6.5 , Blackberry

بالإضافة الى ذلك دعمه تشغيل للفيديو عالي الدقة (HD) على Tegra-based او SnapDragon-based و ايضا phones/netbooks

وفي وقت سابق من هذا العام NVIDIA and Adobe اعلنو انهم يتعاون على الوجه الأمثل لتمكين Adobe Flash Player و NVIDIA قالت ان المعالج الرسومي GPU سوف يكون قادرا على تسريع Flash video مع
GeForce and Ion

في الواقع , ADOBE اظهرت نسخة خاصة من Flash Player 10.1 سوف تدعم فيها ATI Radeon HD 5800
المعالج الرسومي GPU الوحيد في الوقت الراهن الذي يدعم DX11

و AMD ايضا تعمل مع ADOBE في DirectX 11 API’s و shader و تقنية ATI Stream لتسريع اداء Flash مع الـ GPU
كما قال المتحدث بأسم Tomshardware , كما نرى ان AMD و NVIDIA تتصرفان بطرق مختلفه في هذا الأمر
فبينما nVIDIA تهلل وتطبل لتلك الجهود المبذولة من قبلها مع Adobe فإن ATI تلتزم الهدوء وعدم الكلام .

بمعنى آخر :

nVIDIA تهلل وتطبل لمثل هذه الأمور وتحققها

يعني ما أهمية إستخدام ال-GPU في تشغيل الفيديوهات ال-Flash , يعني مأعتقدش في معالج بيعاني في تشغيلهم

مسألة ال Video Hardware Acceleration ليس شرطاً أن تكون لرفع الحمل من على المعالج المركزي رغم ان هذه الخاصية مهمة ولكن أيضاً لتحسين جودة الصورة مع مثل هذه الفيديوهات كال Deblocking وال Deinterlacing وال Noise Reduction وغيرها الكثير :)


هناك امر يدعو للقلق إذا :D


تلتزم الصمت في عبارة المقال معناها كما قلت لك : انها تحقق الأمور بدون تهليل وتطبيل ......فقط ;)

ATI تضمن انك لو وضعت بطاقة من بطاقاتها في جهازك فلن يصيبه أي فيرس :D

Larrabee gets inoculated

According to Xbit Labs, Intel is a bit worried that specialized viruses targeting GPUs could soon appear, as GPGPUs become increasingly popular.

We've talked about the potential benefits of GPGPU computing on numerous occasions. Although there's still not enough useful GPGPU applications for average desktop users, the concept is quite promising. Both Nvidia and ATI have GPGPU video encoding software, and Nvidia recently informed us that it's thinking about using its Fermi GPUs to power antivirus software.

Intel, however, sees the GPGPU as a possible target for next generation viruses, tailored to specifically attack such hardware. “Without any doubts, as graphics processors get more complex, the question of security will become more and more significant and, perhaps, we will witness the first viruses for the GPU. This is why we are carefully studying all the possibilities to ensure security with Larrabee, both on API and on driver levels,” said Intel software specialist Philipp Gerasimov.

It's worth noting that Intel's Larrabee is x86 compatible, unlike ATI and Nvidia GPUs. So Intel would be the prime target for such viruses, should they ever materialize. Nvidia says its Fermi chips will run C++ code, and this brings it a step closer to a proper CPU. So, instead of discussion boards, fanboys could start fighting for their beloved brands with viruses.
