تم تصميم AMD Kabini APU أو SOC (نظام على رقاقة) على وجه التحديد لتوفير أفضل كفاءة في فئة أجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمولة السائدة ليقدم أداء أسرع من أي وقت مضى ،أول إصدار كمعالج SOC بمعمارية x86 الذى يحمل الاسم الرمزي "Kabini". فمعالجات Kabini تاتى تتميز بأربعة من أحدث النوى جاكوار x86 التي تقدم أداء أسرع عن معالجات الجيل الأخير مع تحسين كفاءة الطاقة من خلال تقديم افضل عمر للبطارية والأداء لكل واط.


مزودة بمعالج رسومى من جيل HD 8000 التي قد لا تكون مبنية على هيكل جديد ولكن تقدم أداء أفضل من خلال تحسين سرعة التردد. يتم تقسيم Kabini APU الى فئتين ، فإن سلسلة-A من معالجات Kabini تتنافس مباشرة ضد core i3 و Pentium من سلسلة وحدات المعالج ة المركزية من إنتل في حين أن سلسلة -E سيذهب ضد تشكيلة سيليرون. تهدف AMD لتقديم السعر الجديد مقابل الأداء مع أحدث منتجاتها Kabini APU وسوف تكون أرخص بشكل كبير مما توفره إنتل.
