-Download and Extract
-Run aSimple Cleanup Utility. (Perform a Normal AMD Cleanup)
-Run aSimple Driver Cleanup.
Select the Cleaner you would like to use.
<->Cleaner For installing the Latest Upgradable Build
<->Cleaner For installing the Latest AMD Display Driver.
-Install the Display Driver or the Upgradable Build Through AMD Setup
Note: Some Users may have to rely on the Signature Workaround to load the Display Driver into the System. Therefore
Users may want to Use the Custom Installation method and make
sure Signature Workaround and the Display Driver is Checked.
-Installation Complete
GPU Encoding Guide For Legacy Users
Legacy (HD2000-HD4000) Users can get Avivo working correctly by simply following the instructions below.
1- Install the drivers without AVIVO, you can install other packages at this step if you like.
2- Restart Windows. /very important/
3- Install AVIVO package version 11.7.0.11109.
4- Use your GPGPU application. (MediaEspresso, etc)
This Guide was Tested and Confirmed
Working on a Radeon HD 4870X2 GPU.
Notes:
-Optimize the Package and Driver for a clean removal (Error less in most cases)
-Updated the Cleaning process for both Driver and Package Cleaner
-Resolved a Bug in which the GPU Restarter did not work correctly
for Legacy and Previous Legacy Users. This updates also applies to
the xGGpuM Recovery Time tool.
-Updated aSimple CleanUP Utility Selection Layout.
-Updated the Alternate Installer to resolve a bug in which it
attempts to install the Signature workaround Multiple Times.
-Updated the Alternate installer and all other Scripts for
portability purposes. (Can be used on different Partitions or storage)
-Updated a few driver Components and Application Profiles.
-Updated the OpenGL Driver for HD 5000 and 6000 Users
-Resolved a bug in which Dxva was broken for Users who use
the Switchable Workaround (Partial Mod) without performing
a full upgrade to the 12.11 Modded driver.
-Resolved a bug in which the UPD Build was experiencing
a driver Conflict with other Drivers. In which ultimately
lead to the loss of DXVA Support for HD 5000 and 6000 Users.
-Updated the Driver Version as an attempt to bypass Windows
Automatic Driver Update.
-Updated the Driver Cleaner as attempt to Default Switchable Graphic Cards
to Windows Basic or Standard Display Driver.
-xGGpuM Recovery Time is now capable of Re-configuring
the driver during installation of Drivers to resolve possible Driver Conflicts
(Users can use this tool by installing it after performing a Clean
Uninstall of Drivers.)
-The GPU Re-starter is now fully intergrated into the
xGGpuM Recovery Time tool so it automatically loads the GPU
into the System when a driver is being installed.
-The GPU Restarter now Attempts to remove Hidden Devices
for Switchable Graphics Users.
-Attempts to Resolve Black Screen for Previous Legacy Users
during the use of Fast Boot (Optimized the code) pc.
(The Gpu Restarter won't have to be used manually as it
will Automatically be applied) This can clearly be seen when
user logs off of their user account the GPU Restarter will
Re-Apply the correct settings.
-Attempts to resolve a bug in which the Package Cleaner would stop
cleaning after encountering an error.
-Re-Added PnpLockdown Clean up for Windows 8 Users. (Applies to the
driver Cleaner.)
Pending Changes
-Adding a Low Powered Switcher for Mobility HD 4000 Users and Below.
-Adding a Switcher Capable of allowing Users to revert to a Previously
Working\Stable Build. (For HD 2000 Series - HD 4000 Series)
This Driver Supports all Graphic Card starting from HD 2000 Series to HD 6000 Series. This includes the following Setup, Switchable Graphics, Crossfire and Single GPU Graphic Cards.
This Driver Supports the Following Graphic Cards.
All Previous Legacy and Current Legacy Graphic
Cards are Supported by the driver.
