اخواني اذا في مجال احد الاخوة يشرح لنا موضوع supernattingوالفرق بينة وبين subnatting

Subnetting
========
Is dividing the network into smaller networks

For example
You have network with IP address 192.168.8.0/ 24
You can subnet this network into 4 smaller networks called subnets
So you get
192.168.8.0/26
192.168.8.64/26
192.168.8.128/26
192.168.8.192/26

The prefix mask here is 26. With subnnetting the subnet prefix mask will always be grater than the original network prefix mask i.e. /26 > /24

Supernetting
=========
Is combining smaller subnets into bigger subnet

For example
You have the subnets
192.168.8.0/24
192.168.9.8/24
192.168.10.16/24
192.168.11.24/24

You can combine the above subnets and advertise them as one subnet with IP address 192.168.8.0/ 22

The prefix mask here is 22. With supernnetting the subnet prefix mask will be less than the original network prefix mask i.e. /22 < /24

أؤيد كلام الأخ amna_ali بالنسبة لل Subnetting

أما بالنسبة لل Supernetting فهنا لا نستطيع استخدام:
192.168.9.8/24
192.168.10.16/24
192.168.11.24/24

لأن هذه ال IP Addresses عبارة عن Host Addresses
و ال Supernet هي اختصار لمجموعة Network Addresses و للتوضيح سوف أضع المثال التالي:

لنفرض أن لدينا مجوعة Network Addresses التالية:
192.168.0.0/24
192.168.1.0/24
192.168.2.0/24
192.168.3.0/24

الآن نريد أن نعرف ما هي ال Supernet لهذه ال Network Addresses
نقوم بحساب ال No. of Bits المشتركة بين جميع هذه ال Network Addresses نجد أنها 22
نكتب أول Network Address و نضع بجانبه Prefix 22 فيصبح لدينا:
192.168.0.0/22
