I'v this I work on a company thay have 4 levels each level has a switch (2950) connnecting a main swtch connecting a router (2600) the problem is slow conniction and broadcasting so i decide to do VLAN on each level like this (VLAN1,VLAN2,VLAN3,VLAN4,VLAN5) vlan5 i but a DMZ server so the big problem for me is must each vlan reach this server.

i'm not experiance but i find some information may be help you
all cisco switches are configerd to be VTP server by default. to configer VTP, first you have to configer the domain name you want to use.


let switch S1 is server:
s1#config t
config)# vtp mode server
config)# vtp domain milan
config)# vtp password todd



another switches
vtp mode client
vtp domain milan
vtp password todd


be carefule the domain name must be the same and password in all switches


you can read chapter 9 in cybex book and you will find the all configration about VTP
and if you want to learn about the basics of VTP you must download the lesson by E.mohammed samir , lesson 16

عموما اللاب بتاعها أعتقد أنه لاب ممتع علي قد ما أقدر و هو الحلقة ال 17 و تم رفعها فعلا أمس الحمد لله

أخي و لكن عنوان الموضوع مخالف لقوانين المنتدي
و هو ان يكون عنوان الموضوع معبر عن الموضوع اللي بداخله و ان يبعد عن كل اساليب التوسل

و سامححني انا ماٌادر أجاوب أكتر من كده لاني ببساطة مش فاهم السؤال كويس هل هو مجرد vtp
طيب و ايه علاقة ال DMZ لاني ما فهمت انت ذكرتها في جملة لم افهم منها شئ

اخي الكريم ممكن تراجع في تراك السويتشنج لل ccnp
جزء يقوم بهذا الموضوع تماما
عن طريق أنك تعمل primary vlan و ده تضع فيها السيرفر بتاعك
و تعمل secondary vlan community و ده يكون فيها كل department
و بالتالي تقدر كل vlan مش تكلم بعضها في نفس الوقت اللي كلهم يكلموا ال primary vlan
